WUXI HOLSET TURBOCHARGER FACTORY

Year 2003: DCEC and Dongfeng Motor expanded their cooperation to realize the expansion of the joint venture of DCEC Engine Co., Ltd. The expanded DCEC will become China’s leading production base for medium and heavy-duty diesel engines in scale and technology.

Year 2004: Jointly establish a Chinese technology center, becoming one of the first foreign diesel engine companies to establish a Chinese R&D technology center. Shanghai Pudong Jinqiao Sports Center adopts DCEC natural gas cogeneration system, which significantly improves energy utilization. Year 2015: On January 27, the construction of a new base for the production and research and development of high-horsepower engines of CCEC started, and the groundbreaking ceremony of the new plant was grandly held.On May 11, the flagship product of DCEC’ domestic natural gas engine series – B6.7G was officially released. This is the latest masterpiece of DCEC after the launch of the first domestic natural gas engine L8.9G last year. The power covers 190-255 horsepower and meets the National Five (Beijing Five) emission standards.

From May to June, DCEC employees participated in the engine software upgrade work as volunteers. The whole activity was simultaneously carried out in 70 bus terminals in 11 urban areas of Beijing, involving 4,656 buses equipped with DCEC engines. The upgraded buses will reduce nitrogen oxide emissions by nearly 1,000 tons per year in actual road operation. Year 2017: On February 27, DCEC officially launched a new model ISF4.5L mid-horsepower four-cylinder diesel engine in the Chinese market. The model is based on DCEC’ most popular B-series mid-horsepower platform worldwide, developed on the existing F-series powertrain. On March 26, the DCEC classic power platform X series engine officially debuted in the Chinese truck market for the first time, and the Auman EST super truck equipped with the DCEC X12 engine was announced on the market.

On July 26, XCEC celebrated its tenth anniversary. On November 28, Beijing Foton DCEC Engine Co., Ltd. celebrated its tenth anniversary. On May 29, DCEC Electronics and Fuel Systems (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. ushered in its tenth anniversary with the grand rollout of the 2 millionth injector and the 800,000th electronic control unit. GUANGXI CUMMINS FACTORY

Year 2019: On January 10, CCEC obtained the China Phase 1 Emission Approval Certificate (GB15097-2016) issued by China Classification Society (CCS). On May 21, the 800,000th generator of DCEC Generator Technology’s China plant rolled off the assembly line.

On June 19, the 3 millionth engine of DCEC rolled off the production line. On October 11, the ACPL manufacturing base was fully upgraded, and DCEC B4.0 and B4.5 National VI models rolled off the production line.

On October 12, DCEC launched the newly upgraded DCEC China Online Service Center (DCEC Care) in China to provide users with friendly, accurate, timely and convenient active intelligent services. On October 17th, DCEC Intelligent National VI engine technology won the 2019 Lingxuan Award – China Auto Parts Powertrain Annual Contribution Award. On October 30, the tenth anniversary of the establishment of DCEC Power (China) Co., Ltd., the new QSK78 series diesel generator set was launched, and the high-horsepower assembly line was officially put into use.

Year 2020: On January 10, the new base project of DCEC East Asia R&D Center was launched in Wuhan, Hubei. On the basis of the original investment of 100 million US dollars, DCEC will invest an additional 150 million US dollars for the expansion of the new base and the upgrading of R&D facilities and capacity building. On March 25, DCEC made an additional cash investment in Loop Energy. Loop is a leading supplier of fuel cell electric range extenders for a wide range of medium and heavy duty transportation applications. In September 2019, DCEC made an initial investment in Loop. On September 25, DCEC China and ZTO Express jointly released the “Efficient and Clean Energy Logistics Power Solution” in Shanghai, launching a new natural gas China VI heavy-duty power solution, including 12N and 15N products with different displacements, which can be used for different Heavy-duty trucks designed to deliver natural gas clean energy power. On September 28, DCEC launched a new natural gas China VI heavy-duty power solution. On December 18, Foton Motor and DCEC Emissions Treatment System established a joint venture. This is the second joint venture established by both parties to manufacture advanced emissions treatment system products that meet the requirements of stricter emissions regulations.

 

Year 2021: On February 25, Wang Kaijun, General Manager of Partnerships and Joint Ventures of DCEC China, was promoted to Vice President of DCEC. On April 27, DCEC became a member of China Hydrogen Energy Alliance. On April 30, the production base of Beijing Foton DCEC Emission Treatment System Co., Ltd. was successfully completed and officially put into operation. The first batch of post-processors were successfully rolled off the production line.

 On May 17, DCEC’ first hydrogen energy engineering center in China was officially put into operation in Wuhan. The center is the first engineering center of the hydrogen energy business of DCEC New Energy Division in China, marking a solid step for DCEC to develop customized hydrogen energy technology solutions focusing on the needs of the Chinese market. On July 1, Liu Xiaoxing, vice president of DCEC and former general manager of DCEC China Engine Division, became the vice chairman of DCEC China; Wang Kaijun, vice president of DCEC and former general manager of DCEC China partnership and joint venture business, took over as the general manager of DCEC Engine Division China. On September 29, DCEC released the newly developed 15L National VI heavy-duty engine product, with 48% mass production thermal efficiency and 680 horsepower maximum power, two “killers”, boosting the logistics industry in terms of power and full life cycle cost ( TCO), and efficient customization have entered a “new era” in an all-round way.
