The multi-fuel structure of CCEC’ 15-liter new platform adopts a general-purpose basic engine, as well as a cylinder head and fuel system customized for carbon-free hydrogen or biogas, reducing carbon emissions by up to 90%. Its hydrogen internal combustion engine can produce up to 530 horsepower (395 kilowatts), and the natural gas engine can produce up to 510 horsepower (380 kilowatts). Advanced diesel engine, available in continuous hydrogenated vegetable oil (HVO) or biodiesel, up to 650 hp (485 kW) for demanding off-highway operations.
The CCEC 15-liter engine has a higher power density, a more compact structure, and is easier to install, bringing more convenience to the host equipment. With the design of double overhead camshafts, the combustion efficiency and thermal efficiency in the cylinder are significantly improved. In the design of the engine, the friction resistance is further reduced, and the etched cylinder design is adopted to effectively reduce the weight of the engine. In addition, the double overhead camshaft design also further improves the engine braking function
